Our 5th graders put on a fabulous Veteran's Day Assembly on Friday! We had a great crowd of over 200 people join us as we honored those who served in the armed forces and who sacrificed so much for this great country. Great Job, 5th Grade and all of those involved!

Happy Friday Wayside!
As of 12:00 PM today, we are at approximately 4500 items for the Canned Food Drive. So that means we still need around 5500 items!
We still have until 12:00 PM on Monday to reach our goal of 10,000 items in order to see Mr. Copeland and Mr. Smith "Kiss a Pig."
You can bring those items to the school anytime between now and 4:00 PM today and between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Monday!
Thank you for all of your support and contributions to this meaningful endeavor!
Go Bruins!

Canned Food Drive Update:
We reached 1,000 cans last week! To reward our students, we will be having a school-wide "Pajama Day" on Thursday, November 3rd. Please keep pushing the drive. As of yesterday, we are at 2,219 items.
Remember, our goal is 10,000 items!

Nonpartisan information on the November 8 election is available from the League of Women Voters of Oklahoma at OKVOTERGUIDE.COM.
Like the League, Bartlesville Public Schools does not endorse or oppose any candidates nor take a position on state questions.

Our 3rd and 4th Graders did a great job with their Spotlight Assembly on 10/20/22! We celebrated Homecoming Week, we recognized students participating in Bruins on the Run, and we recognized those with October birthdays. We also enjoyed a visit from some of the Bruin Brigade!

Wayside will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week!
Here is the list of Dress-Up Days if you would like to participate.

More photos of Wayside's Fall Festival from October 7....
A great time was had by all!

Even our Wayside Teachers dressed up and participated in the Fall Festival!

We had a great turnout for the Wayside Fall Festival on October 7th! The weather was perfect! Thank you to all of those who were able to attend this year! And a Special "Thank You" to the WPSA putting on this event! #bvillebruWIN

Due to low water pressure affecting services and fire protection at multiple schools and grade levels, classes are CANCELLED for Friday, October 7 for all of the Bartlesville Public Schools. No virtual classes, either. Classes will resume on Monday.
