Tax Holiday

On August 2-4, 2024, no state sales tax will be charged on many types of clothing or footwear articles less than $100; this does NOT apply to instructional school supplies nor the sale of any accessories, special clothing, or footwear primarily designed for athletic activity or protective use. The tax break also extends to eligible items ordered online from 12:01 a.m. Friday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, even if delivery is after the fact, but does not extend to items put on layaway.

If you need to get school supplies while you are out shopping, CLICK HERE for the 2024-2025 School Supply Lists, but remember that they do NOT qualify for the sales tax exemption.
