At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 18, second grade teacher Angela Gerber was honored as the Teacher of the Year for Wayside Elementary School. She was introduced by student Bella Hibdon.
Pre-Kindergarten teacher Jessica Dyer was honored as the Wayside Elementary School Rising Star Teacher.
Wayside Special Education teacher Kameron Meyer was named the district's Elementary Rookie Teacher of the Year.
Caitlin Walker was honored as the Classified Person of the Year for Wayside Elementary School.
