We are excited about this upcoming school year.  In this article you will find everything you need to get ready for the new school year here at Madison Middle School! Please make sure that you read below carefully in order to find everything that you need.

Madison Connection Camp (07/27 - 07/29): This is our incoming 6th grader transition from elementary to middle school camp.  This is the best opportunity available for every child to feel comfortable making the transition to a new building. The cost is $10 and the dates are July 27th through the 29th (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). There are some spots still available. If you are interested, please click HERE to go to more detailed information and to get the form for sign up.

New to District Students - If you are new to our district, to aid in your student's enrollment here at Madison, please follow the information HERE to help you before attending registration.

ONLINE enrollment for returning students: ALL parents, of both new and returning students, must set up a PowerSchool Parent Portal HERE where you will get access to registration forms that should be completed before the in-person registration on August 1-4.

You will be able to put money on your lunch account, sign up for free and reduced lunch, and update all PowerSchool information.  There will also be opportunities to buy a yearbook, a MMS shirt/sweatshirt, and to sign up for the Mustang Run.

Most importantly, it is our opportunity to meet YOU!

School Supply Lists - Please click HERE for more information.

School lunch and Breakfast

The federal government has not renewed the waivers providing free lunches for everyone for the 2022-2023 school year. So it is IMPORTANT that EVERYONE who might be eligible apply for free-or-reduced meals HERE. Applying not only helps children get fed but also is critical for the district to qualify for federal funding for a wide variety of programs. Otherwise prepare to pay for your student's breakfast and lunch at school. You can find the information for that HERE.

Chromebook and Chromebook Insurance Information

Middle school students are issued Chromebooks they transport to and from school daily. A lost middle school Chromebook & case is worth $245. In 2020-21, 124 middle school students lost their $35 chargers, while 200 broke their $40 screens. Those with insurance owed nothing for a first incident and were only charged 50% for a second incident. The insurance lasts for one school year.

Once you have a PowerSchool account, you can pay in advance for the optional Chromebook insurance to speed up the in-person registration. It costs $26 for the 2022-23 school year for students who will be in grades 6-8 in August. (You can also pay at the in-person registration for $26 if paying with a credit/debit card or $30 if paying with cash.)

Go to ok-bartlesville.intouchreceipting.com and use the student's ID number as the username and the student's last name as the password. (Or you can use Purchases and Payments within PowerSchool.)

7th grade - Please bring immunization records to registration. 7th graders are required to have the T-Dap booster. If your child does not have it, the health department will be set up to give them on site at MMS if you wish to utilize that service. If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card. The health department will be available from 9-11am and 1-3pm.  You can find more information here. There is also an exemption form that can be found here

MMS Handbook and Dress Code -  We do have a dress code at Madison and you will want to purchase back to school clothes that fall within the dress code. You can find the dress code and other information in our updated Madison Middle School Handbook.
