This past weekend, Madison had several students compete at The Bartlesville District Science Fair.
The following students placed in the category awards. Students who receive first place in their category are automatically invited to attend the Oklahoma State Science Fair which is held the last weekend in March.
In the Biological Sciences, Caylen Lee took 2nd Place
In the Behavioral & Social Science, Ryker Burch, & Houston Holden took 3rd place
In the Environmental Sciences, James Boudreaux took 1st place
In the category of Physics, Fin Salerno & Ethan Lino took 1st place
Special Awards were also awarded to:
American Institute of Chemical Engineers Recognized James Boudreaux with their first prize. He will receive a cash reward and certificate.
Oklahoma Corporation Commission Recognized James Boudreaux with his project, "The Power of Dirt".
Primary Care Associates recognized medical projects for Outstanding Life Sciences to Caylen Lee.
The Marvin & Marylin Johnson Eureka Award for Outstanding Project was awarded to Jackson Boudreaux. Jackson will receive a cash award and a certificate.
The United States Navy also recognized Jackson Boudreaux's project in Physics.
Broadcom Masters recognizes the top 10% of student projects in grades 7 & 8. Receiving recognition was Jackson Boudreaux in the Physics category, Madysen Brown and Ingeyla Ghori in the category of Chemistry, and in the Biology category, Caylen Lee was recognized.
The United States Navy recognized Jackson Boudreaux for his project, The Power of Dirt.
