At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 17, 2025, Hoover English Language Development teacher Ashley Burson was recognized as the school's Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Camila Mora.
Kindergarten teacher Beth Lyon was honored as the school's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Library Assistant Shannon Anderson was honored as Hoover's Classified Person of the Year.
